" Thinking about him when I'm talking to you." Music gets stuck in this head. Sometimes "perfect recall" is a drag. I write, I create, I build, I serve, I play the angel and his temptress too. We want to change the world? So let's work together. It will never be perfect. It will survive. Nadine a.k.a Reign a.k.a Resigner loves being unique. Hates getting lost. Just like you.

Cinders And Red

Cinders And Red

Goth chique fairytale

Goth chique fairytale

Goth chique fairytale

Crushed by guilt.

Far away from the fiefdom, enters the woman known as Red to most. An apt pseudonym. She's always first on the scene. She finds the "scoops" that other journalists would author the book on. Retire. Live large.

Red is a different creature. Right now, she is bored with her latest career choice, craving action.

Drinking some despicable beer and black coffee in a town under siege, not sure the water is safe. No - she has no idea how she got here. Or where "here" even is. She is not sure whether she brings disaster or just have a knack for finding riots. She dressed in one colour: oxblood. These clothes are quality, so blood stains would vex her. She is "Immortal" to the end of days.

Tall, beautiful red hair, untouchable. Unchangeable. The fact that she is not real flesh and blood helps.

Cinder was staring at the fire, thinking to herself "How do I unite myself with my followers?" Deep in thought, as she sometimes -disappear, losing time without noticing the embers have died.

Shivering in the cold. Her body screaming "Rest!" Her mind a thousand miles away. Physically and mentally not able to lust "let go". Not ready yet. Refusing to trust, refusing to believe there is absolutely nothing she could be doing at that moment. Pleading in her head "Do not go!"

Saying aloud "I've been watching you, watching me. You look like hell, my lady. Can I help?"

Whereas Red shrugs, "I'm pretty sure I was dressed in leather and had my rifle a minute ago, can you tell me which year this is for a start?" \

"By the way, you have anything to drink?" Grimacing with parched lips. Licking blood from the corners of her mouth.

"After all, I am here to help you Cinders. You are right, I have been watching you for years now."

The time is near. Closer than it has ever been. A thought shared by both, as a wolf starts to howl.

"We are close my mortal friend. I cannot be you, just as you have no power in my world. Still, I recognise you."

Then they started talking about revolution, battle tactics, advising, brainstorming. For three days, they refused all meat. They drank from the creek. They prayed. The cried. They shared their dreams.

Eventually, as they could smell meet roasting and their bodies demanded sustenance, they stopped. But not before Red told Cinders "Remember, over death I have no dominion - so please don't do something stupid."

"My influence has limits, I know all the sorrows and all the fates of luck. But the man on the horse keeps his own council. He is kind, he IS THE FUNCTION. He is responsible. But I have seen him wink."

We still must get that dress, child.
